Transportation from the airport

The Praha Ruzyne airport is located northwest of the outskirts of Prague, some 20 kilometers from the city center. Inquiries on departures and arrivals on-line: Prague Airport.

Flights from Schengen countries (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Sweden and Spain) arrive to terminal 2.
All other flights (e.g. direct flights from Russia, UK, USA, etc.) arrive to terminal 1. Both terminals are connected and it is an easy walk from one to another.

How to get to Hotel Troja:

1. By taxi
There are 2 taxi companies at the airport:

We recommend using AAA Radiotaxi, the price from the airport to the hotel should be in the range 700 to 800 CZK. It depends on traffic as you pay also for standing.

2. By public transportation system
The public transport from the airport to the hotel is little bit tiresome lasting between 60 and 80 minutes. They are 2 options:
     1. Use AE (Airport Express) bus (special tariff 60 CZK paid to the bus driver) to "Hlavni Nadrazi" (Main Station) - terminus, AE has interval 30 minutes leaving Terminal at 545, 615. 645, and then at 05 and 35 after each hour until 1835 and then at 1915, 1945 2015, 2045 and 2115. The bus stops 2 minutes later at Terminal 2. At terminus you change to underground Metro C (buy normal ticket for 24 CZK) direction "Letnany" or "Ladvi" to "Kobylisy" station (exit at the end of train). This option is more comfortable, but slower and more expensive.
     2. Buy ticket for 32 CZK in the vending machine at the bus stop or at the DPP booth at the airport hall. Use bus no. 119 (goes at least 6 times/hour, first at 414, last at 2332) to terminus "Dejvicka" (Metro A), transfer to underground Metro A (green line) and go to the station "Muzeum". Here you change to line C (red line) direction "Letnany" or "Ladvi" and go to "Kobylisy" station (exit at the end of train).

Local currency Czech crown (CZK) can be obtained from ATM machines or exchange offices in the airport halls. The current exchange rate is approximately 1 EUR = 25 CZK.
